The Windsor Components Plant is the heart of Westinghouse's fuel product line for CE-built reactors. About 180 nuclear fuel employees in customer projects, core analysis, project engineering and components manufacturing are located in this modern, 60,000 square-foot facility. We design, fabricate and sell nuclear components and products such as grids, cages, top and bottom end-fittings, fuel rod end-caps and control element assemblies (CEAs). Our engineering group supports utility customers with product design, reload analyses, engineering services and technology transfer. Together, these products serve U.S. and Korean-based CE type reactors, U.S. BWRs and European PWRs in Belgium, France and Germany.
