How do I apply for a job or internship with Westinghouse?

Can an internship lead to a full-time position?


Many interns are employed full time after completing an internship and upon graduation. More than 20 percent of all interns are hired every year. Keep in mind that the typical intern begins working at Westinghouse upon completion of his/her sophomore year of college and has the possibility of returning for consecutive summers.

Can international students participate in the intern program?


International students must be on an F-1 Visa to participate in the intern program.

What is the process for recruiting?


Upcoming graduates interested in full-time positions should submit their resume to the Westinghouse Electric Company Web site. Following a pre-selection process, on-campus interviews will be held. You can apply for on-campus interviews with Career Services at your school.

How many new graduates and interns/co-ops does Westinghouse hire each year?


Westinghouse hires interns, co-ops and new graduates based upon the needs of our business. Therefore, we cannot provide a concrete number at this time, as needs change. However, last year we had the privilege of providing valuable experience to more than 250 interns and we hired over 100 awesome new graduates into our team.
