Westinghouse believes in giving back to the communities in which our employees live, work and where we do business and our Charitable Giving Program allows us to do just that.
Westinghouse worldwide is committed to the communities in which our employees live, work and where we do business. Company monetary donations to these communities in one or more of our strategic areas of giving, are just one way to fortify our investments as good corporate citizens with local charitable organizations and the general public.
Westinghouse strategic areas of giving:
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Education
- Environmental Sustainability
- Community Vitality
The Westinghouse Charitable Giving Program replaced the Westinghouse Foundation many years ago and is the main funding entity to support non-profit 501(c)-3 organizations in the U.S.
If your organization meets the criteria of one or more of our strategic areas of giving and our grant restrictions and requirements, we welcome you to apply for a grant up to $5,000. New to our grant restrictions: Any organization that received a Westinghouse Charitable Giving Grant in 2014 cannot apply for another grant until 2016. Organizations can only receive funding once over a three-year-period.
Proposals are reviewed by the Westinghouse Charitable Giving Advisory Board two times each Westinghouse fiscal year (April 1 to March 31). For specific strategic areas of giving criteria, proposal requirements, where to send your proposal, deadline dates and more, go to: Program Details.
