Senior Fellow, Business Development

Mr. Akihiro Takubo has served as Senior Fellow at Toshiba Power System Company since 2009. His responsibility includes overall strategic development of Toshiba’s nuclear business.

Mr. Takubo joined Toshiba in 1978 and has over twenty years of experience in domestic sales and marketing. In 1999, Mr. Takubo became Senior Quality Expert at Management Innovation Division and received his six sigma Master Black Belt.

From 2000 to 2008, he was senior manager, Overseas Project Promotion Department, Nuclear Energy Division and WEC Coordination Department, WEC Coordination Division and Fellow Specialist, Global Business Strategy, Toshiba Power Systems Company.

Mr. Takubo received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ibaraki University in 1978.
