Vice President, Nuclear Energy Systems & Services Division

Since 2008, Mr. Kiyoshi Okamura has served as vice president of Nuclear Energy Systems & Services Division at Toshiba Power Systems Company. He is responsible for Toshiba’s entire nuclear business concerning front- and back-end fuel cycle and next generation reactors such as fast breeder reactor and nuclear fusion reactor, etc.

Mr. Okamura joined Toshiba in 1981 and focused on project management in the NPP Construction and Operation Division. In 1999, Mr. Okamura was promoted to Manager of Operating Plant Sales & Marketing Department, Nuclear Energy Division. Over the next five few years, he assumed a couple of manager positions with increasing responsibilities in several departments.

From 2003 to 2008, he served as general manager of Nuclear Power Plant Business Unit and Nuclear Service Business Unit.

Mr. Okamura received a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Osaka University in 1981.
