James A. Fici

Senior Vice President
Customer Relations & Sales

James A. Fici is responsible for the worldwide customer relations and sales efforts of Westinghouse Electric Company. In this position, Mr. Fici and his staff played an integral role in China's selection of Westinghouse to provide four new AP1000 nuclear power plants there. He was appointed to this position in April 2003.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Fici was senior vice president, Westinghouse Nuclear Power Plants, from April 2001. In this position, Mr. Fici managed the signing of a number of major contracts, including a $400 million agreement in 2002 to provide major reactor components, instrumentation and control, and technical and engineering support services to four new nuclear power plants in South Korea.

From 1997 until early 2001, Mr. Fici was senior vice president of Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel and vice president and general manager of the Westinghouse Commercial Nuclear Fuel Division (CNFD). Between 1993 and 1997, he was plant manager of the Westinghouse Fuel Fabrication Facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Before these assignments, Mr. Fici held positions of increasing responsibility in nuclear design engineering in Westinghouse's CNFD.

Mr. Fici began his Westinghouse career in 1972.

He holds a B.S. and an M.S. degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan. He served two consecutive terms on an advisory board for the University of Michigan's Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences Department. The University of Michigan's Alumni Society awarded Mr. Fici the Merit Award in 1999 for outstanding achievements in nuclear engineering.
