This Center of Excellence enhances Westinghouse’s ability to provide industry-leading services by focusing on:
- Creating innovative solutions to thermal hydraulic issues related to plant fluid systems.
- Developing new products that address thermal hydraulic issues in order to better support customer needs.
- Providing a one-stop shop and single point of contact for customers who need thermal hydraulic consultation and testing services performed in a quality-controlled environment.
There are numerous Ph.D.-level experts that staff the Thermal Hydraulic Testing Center of Excellence. Whether a customer is looking for a new fuel design, addressing an emergent operability concern, or improving plant performance or safety, Westinghouse can address complex thermal hydraulic issues on schedule and in a cost-efficient manner.
