Westinghouse’s fuel-handling equipment and crane manufacturing business in Shoreview, Minnesota (USA), designs, manufactures, installs and services cranes and fuel-handling equipment such as refueling machines, spent fuel handling machines, fuel transfer systems and new fuel elevators.
Hutchinson-Minnesota-based NuCrane Manufacturing provides fabrication, assembly and testing services for any crane in any nuclear plant, PWR or BWR, and for replacement trolleys and other major upgrades of cranes in existing plants. NuCrane will provide the 16 specialty cranes in each AP1000® nuclear plant.
PaR-TZ Nuclear Company, Ltd. provides the assembly, testing and sale of new critical crane components and fuel-handling equipment, as well as the associated services and spare parts of these to the Chinese commercial nuclear market. PaR-TZ is based in Taiyuan, China, approximately 500 km (311 miles) southwest of Beijing.
