What We Do

Innovation at the forefront of the nuclear industry.

If it weren’t for the curiosity, creativity and imagination of George Westinghouse, we would not be here today to provide innovative solutions and technology for customers around the world. George Westinghouse introduced and developed an alternating current for light and power. With the desire to turn his ideas into enterprises, he founded Westinghouse Electric, as well as 59 other companies. Westinghouse Electric Company has since become a leading provider of nuclear plant products and services to utilities throughout the world, including fuel, service and maintenance, instrumentation and control, and advanced nuclear plant designs.

More than 50 years ago, we helped build the first nuclear power plant in the United States. Today, there are more than 440 operating commercial nuclear energy plants worldwide and several new nuclear energy plants under construction. Our services are in demand more than ever because of the growing need for electricity and the desire to produce it without harming the environment. For that reason, Westinghouse is hiring, building and investing to meet these global needs.

We are looking for collaborators, innovators and leaders who will keep us at the forefront of the nuclear energy industry. Are you up for the challenge? Learn more about Westinghouse’s culture and diversity, search our current opportunities, and find the job that is ideal for you.
