Requests for funding should be submitted directly to the Westinghouse Charitable Giving Program or the local Westinghouse plant location, if applicable. When a local Westinghouse plant receives a grant application, it evaluates the request and forwards it to the Charitable Giving Advisory Board for final consideration. The Charitable Giving Advisory Board will evaluate proposals and make awards on a quarterly basis. Individual award amounts will be $5,000 and under. In addition, only two grants can be awarded to an organization over a five-year period.*

*Because Westinghouse and its employees provide significant support to United Ways located throughout the United States, United Way-affiliated agencies are precluded from receiving additional support from the Westinghouse Charitable Giving Program.
