Brief History of Westinghouse Mangiarotti

Westinghouse Mangiarotti was founded in 1930 as a manufacturer of steel equipment for hydraulic power plants.

Since then, the company has grown steadily, as has its reputation for providing the process industry with first-class equipment that meets the ever-increasing demand for production across a variety of industries, including nuclear power, oil and gas, and petrochemical.

For nearly five decades, Westinghouse Mangiarotti, including its successors, has engineered and manufactured the highest quality pressure vessels and heat exchangers from its world-class facilities in Italy. We incorporate both the latest technological advances and the extensive knowledge of our experienced workforce to stay ahead of industry changes and bring innovative products to the global marketplace.

On November 23, 2017, Toshiba and Westinghouse Electric UK Holdings Limited (WECUKH) and Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (WEC) completed an agreement to transfer Toshiba’s 70% shareholding in Mangiarotti S.p.A to WECUKH; thus creating today’s wholly owned Westinghouse affiliated Westinghouse Mangiarotti company.
