The primary responsibility of the Science and Technology Department is to support Westinghouse's internal clients working in the Nuclear Services, Nuclear Fuel, and Nuclear Power Plants businesses. Department personnel and facilities are also available to work with, and currently work with, electric utility and U.S. government clients in areas related to the safe and reliable operation of commercial nuclear industry power plants. To industrial clients as a whole, the Science and Technology Department can also provide special services that utilize its unique facilities.
