First TRITON11™ BWR Fuel Assemblies Completed; Approved for Delivery to TVO

The first eight TRITON11 fuel assemblies prepared for Finland’s Teollisuuden Voima’s (TVO) Olkiluoto nuclear power plant recently were successfully completed and approved for delivery. TVO representatives witnessed the fuel assembling, final inspection and channeling in Westinghouse’s Västerås, Sweden fuel manufacturing facility. This campaign will be followed by a delivery of 10 TRITON11 fuel assemblies to OKG’s Oskarshamn nuclear power plant in Sweden in mid-2019.
